From the Sierra Nevada to the heart of the Alpujarras. More than sixty kilometres of non-stop mountain biking, ascending to the pass of the Carihuela del Veleta (3228 m) and with the option of ascending to the peak of Veleta (3398 m) and then descending through the spectacular (formerly glacial) high mountains of the Sierra Nevada national park before arriving at Trevélez in the Alpujarras - the highest situated village in Spain and with architecture and gastronomy in a class of its own.
